Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026

Millennial M&C Co. ("MMC," "we," "us") is a Chicago-based consulting and nonprofit accounting firm. This policy describes what information we collect through millennialmc.com and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple and honest, because that is how we run the firm.

Information we collect

  • Contact information you give us — name, email address, organization, and details you submit through our forms (for example, the resources download form) or by emailing or calling us.
  • Client information under an engagement — if your organization engages MMC, we access the financial records needed to perform the work described in your engagement letter, such as accounting data, bank and payment records, payroll information, and supporting documents.
  • Website usage data — basic analytics (pages visited, approximate location, device type) collected by our hosting provider to understand site performance. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use information

  • To deliver the services in your engagement letter and communicate with you about them.
  • To respond to inquiries and send resources you request.
  • To send occasional relevant communications, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and internal systems.

We do not sell your information. Ever. We share it only with service providers necessary to run the firm (such as email, document storage, and accounting platforms), with parties you direct us to work with (such as your CPA), or when required by law.

QuickBooks and connected services

When a client authorizes MMC to connect to their QuickBooks Online account, we access that data solely to perform the engaged services, in accordance with Intuit's developer and platform policies. Access is granted through Intuit's secure authorization process, and clients may revoke it at any time from their Intuit account settings.

Automation and AI

MMC uses automation and AI tools to work efficiently. Where AI is used with client data, it runs on infrastructure we control — client financial data is not sent to third-party AI providers. Any action that writes to a client's records requires human review and approval before it happens. Automation supports our judgment; it does not replace it.

Security and retention

We protect information with encrypted connections, access controls, and internal approval procedures. We retain client records for as long as needed to serve the engagement and meet professional and legal record-keeping obligations, then dispose of them securely.

Your choices

  • You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • You may unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message or by contacting us.

Changes and contact

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions or requests: jamil@millennialmc.com or 773-322-6594.
